Alaina Kelly Murphy (Steel Roze) (New Hampshire Organizer)

Hello everyone, my name is Alaina Kelly Murphy {Steele_Roze}. I currently sport a 2010 HD Fatboy and 1994 Dyna Wide Glide. In my days of future passed, my rides consisted of all Triumphs, easy to work on, but you had to have an uncanny love for the “Lucas” Prince of darkness”.
Currently holding a position with the New Hampshire American Legion Riders as State Director, member of ALR Chapter 9 - Post 51 Epping. My employment (past 22 yrs.) is dept secretary to The American Legion Dept of Vermont Service Officer (have a great boss) advocating for veterans and their VA benefits. A 20 year member of Auxiliary Unit #22 Lebanon, NH, a member of the Elks Lodge, have two awesome daughters who ride and a most precious grandson. I am not a veteran, but a daughter of a retired Colonel, niece of uncles who were in WWII Battle of the Buldge and cousin to a combat vet of the RVN.
First met Bob Parker online the year the AWC came about. Since then we have exchanged many postings from across the pond. George “Tank” Sherman sent me an email asking if the NH ALR would get onboard with this ride. Our State Chaplain Joyce Murnane and I jumped right onboard. We are very proud and honored to be involved in the Allied Memorial Remembrance Ride. NH ALR ride to honor and remember those who fought for our freedoms.

Joyce "Pitbull" Murnane (New Hampshire Chaplin)

Hi,
My name is Joyce "Pitbull" Murnane. I ride a 1999 Harley 1200 custom Sportster. I am excited to have a hand in organizing New Hampshire 1st Allied Ride to honor our Fallen Veterans near and far. I have not served in the military but most of my family has. I am a Blue Star Mother my son has been in the Navy for 11yrs. Last year in September I went to his Pining Ceremony as he had made Chief. What a proud day that was for our family.
I joined the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 51 Epping N.H. in the summer of 1996. My husband Kevin and I were out one afternoon with no particular place to go. We stumbled on an annual Pig Roast at the Post. While we were there we encountered some wonderful people who made us feel welcome and they became our new family. Currently I hold several offices. 1st Vice for District 3 Auxiliary, Chaplin for Unit 51, and joined the Post 51 Honor Guard.
In September of 2008 Our Post started a Chapter of the American Legion Riders. I have been the Road Captain for all 3 years. At that time joined the State of New Hampshire American Legion Riders were I became the Road Captain and now I am the Chaplin. I have always loved to ride and now with the ALR I can do great things to help the Veterans and their Families will doing what I love. I am proud to be a member of the American Legion Family and would like to Thank all Veterans everywhere for my freedoms. They are the reason why I do what I do.
Ride Safe
